The Emerald Dragon, known to his close friends as “D-Easy,” is a Chinese dragon symbolizing growth and prosperity, and is responsible for bringing the rains and a good harvest. He reports to the Dragon King, who reports to the Jade Emperor, but don’t let his middle-management dragon-ness fool you. He is very powerful and critical in ensuring the well-being of our planet. The Dragon King lives in the sea and eats pearls. He uses this iridescent power to make and manage the dragons and to control the rains. The Emerald Dragon harnesses the rains and waters the fields and crops – and our spirits. When he’s on break from nourishing the planet, he enjoys writing poems and freestyling, and flying around the beautiful city lights of Hong Kong.
