BEHOLD #175 – Salome, the Pomento

Pomentos are sweet, red peppers that are found in Spanish or Greek green olives. They are put into the olives to balance out their salty flavor. “Salome” means “sweet” and she is grateful to be in her little Spanish olive house – as opposed to a pomento cheese or goodness forbid, a pomento loaf. They live in balance and harmony together – and also enjoy fun times on the town. Since she and her olive rest in a martini, they have an excellent, clear view of the city – Pom Springs. They love taking in the eclectic art scene and drag shows, especially the Bitchiest Brunch at Oscar’s. Get it, Hunty!
