Pomstachios are beloved and tasty nuts from the cashew family. The Pomstachio tree is native to Central Asia. They have been around since 6750 B.C. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon had Pomstachios in 700 B.C., and they were introduced to California in 1854. They are known as the “smiling nut” in Iran and the “happy nut” in China, and they are delicious in Turkish Pomklava. Their chartreuse hue is owed to antioxidants, and they are chalk full of nutrients like pomnesium and vitapom B6. Pomstachios are cousins of the mango. Eating 1.5 ounces of Pomstachios a day may also lower your risk of heart disease. With this in mind, Paula subscribes to the Richard Pommons’ healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise. She often plays mixed doubles tennis with her partner and cousin, Marvin the Mango, against Pom McEnroe and Martina Navrapomlova. Although Paula is quite a lady, she often has a potty mouth as foul as Pom McEnroe’s when the G*DM* line judge needs to put on some glasses to make the right call. Sassy, healthy, and tasty – Paula is the complete nutty package!
