POM 365 + Bonus Poms

Pom  365 is my year-long commitment to making pom pom art every single day.

Behold every Pom I’ve created from day one until today:

Rosemary is currently the Fire Chief of East Point, Georgia.  She is the first Pomerican female Pom Fire Chief.  She began her career as a firefighter in Pomlanta 29 years ago.  Today, she manages four fire stations with more than 100 employees.  Rosemary has been honored in the Hall of Fame for Exemplary Service to Pomkind, and she has achieved many other titles and honors.  A fan of hoses that shoot out cold water, wet water, and sparkly water, she has also put out a TON of fires!  We love her!

T-rex Poms first appeared in North Pomerica about 68 million years ago.  They are among the last non-avion pomosaurs to exist before the Great Event happened.  When the Great Event happened, pomosaurs disappeared for millions of years – but, they are back now and thriving.  T-rex’s are known for their massive skulls that are balanced by a long, heavy tail.  Their non-Pom counterparts have 2-clawed digits, but pomosaurus T-rex’s have 3 clawed-digits.  They have the strongest bite force of all terrestrial animals.  T-rex’s also like to walk around on their hind legs – on their tippy toes.  Toppy here is tired of being on his tippy toes.  He’s starting to have some toe issues and so his pomdiatrist recommended sitting down and relaxing for a couple of hours each day.  Toppy enjoys his relaxation time so much that he decided to open a recliner store called “Take a Load Off”.  Many T-rex’s with tired tippy toes come to him for their relaxation needs.  Toppy is an amazing pomtrepeneur!

Mario and his younger, taller brother, Luigi, are plumbers living in the Pomshroom Kingdom.  Mario first appeared in Donkey Pom in 1981.  When creator Shigeru Miyamoto needed a protagonist in the video game, Donkey Pom, he wanted to use Popeye, but could not get the licensing rights, so he created Mario.  Mario was very pompular and Nintendo had Shigeru create Mario Brothers in 1983 and Super Mario Brothers in 1985.  Stars were born!  Mario and Luigi have appeared in over 200 different video games and they are now both Pom culture icons.  They first lived in New York and were transported to the Pomshroom Kingdom by a stork.  Mario and Luigi are both excellent at jumping and stomping and they also take lots of different kinds of pomshroom power-ups.  They try all of these athletics and pomshroom power ups in order to save Princess Peach from the villain, Bowser.  Over the decades they have also saved each other, a variety of friends, and experienced all sorts of things like the Double Cherry, Super Acorn, Ice Flower, and the Statue Leaf.  They can turn invisible, fly, become doctors, transform into cats, and do just about anything one can imagine.  Jump into their Pom world and enjoy the adventure!
