POM 365 + Bonus Poms

Pom  365 is my year-long commitment to making pom pom art every single day.

Behold every Pom I’ve created from day one until today:

A highly patriotic and beloved Pom born in the USP (United States of Pomerica), he loves to go dancin’ in the dark on the streets of Philadelphia. While others enjoy speed walking, he doesn’t care if his knees require surgery in a few years because he was born to run. Right now he’s in his prime, but in a few years, he will look back on his glory days and remind himself to dream, baby, dream. His Pom fans call him The Boss.

Curley lives in the town of Kinkyville and he is able to curl anything that is straight – ribbons, spaghetti, hair, rulers, lines, roads… I didn’t say that it’s good to curl everything that’s straight – I just said that Curley can do it. He is the spring-loaded life of the party. When he gets tipsy, he dances on the tables and makes everybody corkscrews. Just make sure to Uber home safely from Kinkyville to your house when the night is over. You may wake up with a new hairdo in the morning 😃

It is thought that colors close to the red light on the spectrum stimulate melatonin production which helps with sleep. She recommends napping for about 20 minutes – no longer than 30 minutes – or else that could make it harder to sleep for the night. Short disco naps can reduce stress and fatigue and improve a Pom’s attention and physical performance. So Lady Roxanne has started a company called “Turn on Your Red Light” and it makes pods for Poms to sleep in that are glowing with red light. They have a timer that goes off after 25 minutes, so Poms don’t have to worry about oversleeping. These pods are installed in workplaces, hotel rooms, hospitals, the PMV (Pompartment of Motor Vehicles) and even banks – places where someone might have to wait for more than 20 minutes so they can fit in a disco nap. Her red sleep pods are taking the Pom world by storm – one snore at a time.

Did you know that yellow and blue light help Pom children sleep? That will be Lady Roxanne’s next line of pods.
