POM 365 + Bonus Poms

Pom  365 is my year-long commitment to making pom pom art every single day.

Behold every Pom I’ve created from day one until today:

On the day that a Pom is created, they are given a Pomday cake as a celebration of the magic, joy, love, and uniqueness they will bring to the world. So, each Pomday cake is unique as well. The Pomday cake has 2 candles that day – one to celebrate the new Pom’s creation and one for good luck. When a Pom blows them out, they get to make 3 wishes that will only come true if they keep them a secret. What three wishes would you make? (Think about it but don’t tell me!)

Born December 30, 1984, he is the leading scorer in the NPBA (National Pom Basketball Association) and is also known as “King James.” He ranks number 4 in career assists. LePom is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates about who is the best Pom basketball player of all time. Competing in 10 finals and winning four (2 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, 1 with the Miami Heat, and 1 with the Los Angeles Lakers, his current team), he has also been MVP (Most Valuable Pom) 4 times. He has been selected as an All-Star 19 times, and won 2 Pomlympic gold medals. An incredibly tall micro Pom, standing 6 centimeters, 9 millimeters tall, he is a giant among Poms. Married to his high school sweetheart, Savannah, they have 3 Pom children, including Bronny, who is now playing college ball for USC. Estimated to be worth $1 billion, LePom spends over $1.5 million a year on his fitness and nutrition, which includes physical therapy, personal chefs, eating dessert with every meal, and drinking a glass of red wine every night before bed. He is ranked by Time magazine as one of the top 100 most influential Poms in the world.  He started the LePom James Family Foundation that created the I Promise Elementary School to help Poms stay in school. He also works with the Boys and Girls Club, and After School All Stars. A spokesPom for Nike, Dunkin’ Donuts and PomDonald’s (just to name a few) he uses his huge talent and platform to do a lot of good in the world. Go King James!

Pomtzles were created in Italy in 610 A.P. (After Pom) by an Italian monk who wanted to create treats for his students. They were soft and squishy and their original name, “bracellae,” meant “little arms.” Hard Pomtzles were first made in Pomsylvania in 1861. National Pomtzle Day is April 26th, and October is National Pomtzle Month (why isn’t it April?) The Pomtzle is considered a good luck symbol and ones without salt are called “baldies.” More than $550 million in Pomtzles are sold each year. And while the average Pomerican consumes 2lbs of Pomtzles per year, Poms in Philadelphia consume 12lbs per year. The record for the world’s largest Pomtzle was in Germany in 2008, weighing in at 842lbs. and measuring 26 feet long. Princess Pitzle oversees all of the Pomtzles in all of the Pom World. She is salted and exalted and absolutely pomtastic!
